Owen Shott, co-owner of Jacksonville Running Company has had a love for running since he was 5 years old. Wether it is on the trails at UNF, Fort Caroline, or Guana, you will always find Owen running. "It keeps me feeling fit and in good shape, I also enjoy the challenge of competing against others and pushing myself to test my own limits. Owen started Jacksonville Running Company after 7 years of experience at 1stplacesports.

When not running, or sharing his knowledge of running with others, you will find him watching ladies volleyball, soccer, and some baseball.  He also enjoys eating fresh sushi and ending his day with a nice big bowl of icecream. Healthy icecream that is!
