Jo Shott, co-owner of JRC started her career fulltime while in college.  She never really thought of herself as a runner until the Coach of UNF realized her potential and brought her on the team.  From there Jo became one of the best female runners in UNF history.  “Running gives me a release from life and all its stresses,” Says Jo.  Her favorite running partner besides her husband Owen is her dog Deena.  Although she has a hard time keeping up with Deena, she loves it cause Deena never slows down.  

Jo’s favorite place to run is at the Roosevelt State Park where she can see all the dunes and river. “It is the most peaceful place in town.”
